Qiddiya City is already becoming another physical manifestation of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030.
Designed to be a global destination for entertainment, sports, and culture, and lying just 40 minutes outside of Riyadh, Qiddiya City will eventually span over 360 square kilometres.
This "City of Play" is designed as a living laboratory for leisure, where the world’s most advanced theme parks, sports venues, and artistic hubs converge. While the city is a vast work in progress, the momentum is already tangible. The soon-to-open Qiddiya Golf Course, designed by Sir Nick Flado has already piqued the interest of golf enthusiasts around the world, while Six Flags Qiddiya — featuring the record-breaking Falcon’s Flight — and the jaw-dropping, record-breaking Aquarabia Water Park are already welcoming visitors from across the entire Kingdom.
The purpose built and designed entertainment site has already transitioned from a blueprint to a reality, signalling Qiddiya City's readiness to welcome an international audience very soon.
About the Qiddiya Motorsport Hotel
Located within Qiddiya City’s Resort Core District, according to reports, the Qiddiya Motorsport Hotel will feature a prominent hotel complex anchored by a 136-metre tower, housing 257 guest rooms and 65 residential apartments.
Slated to be situated at the heart of the Speed Park Track, this new hospitality landmark will offer guests an immersive and sensory experience unlike any other. The architecture itself mimics the fluid, aerodynamic lines of a supercar, with floor-to-ceiling glass balconies providing an unobstructed view of the track's most challenging corners. According to reports, the development is designed to provide direct, unobstructed views of the racing circuit from both guest rooms and public areas.
The project comprises two distinct hotel offerings and a residential component:
- A five-star "Sports Car Hotel" featuring 89 guest rooms
- A four-star "F1 Overlook Hotel" featuring 168 guest rooms
- 65 luxury serviced apartments will also be integrated into the complex
Construction is currently underway as part of the Phase 1 development of Qiddiya City, with the hospitality complex intended to support the Kingdom’s growing calendar of international sporting events.
