For Riyadh Season 2024, Al-Suwaidi Park was a free-to-visit zone, and it is expected that this free-entry will continue for the 2025 edition. 

For the duration of Riyadh Season 2025, Al-Suwaidi Park will become more than just a park and green space in the centre of the capital city. this winter Al-Suwaidi Park is becoming a beacon of culture and an extraordinary location of exciting festivities -  from live shows, and roaming musical performances to a selection of authentic eats and unique shopping experiences. 

Al Suwaidi Park is a major and popular zone during the annual Riyadh Season celebrations, and it has become famous for its rotating celebration of diverse global cultures. This unique festival, often part of the "Global Harmony" initiative, transforms the park into a multicultural hub where visitors can experience the traditions of various countries, primarily from Asia and Africa, over several weeks. 

In addition to discovering global cultures up close, there are activities that will suit the entire family, from lively bazaars, to a children's theatre, a carnival area and an area where kids can cycle and scoot until its time to go home. 

Cultural Events at Al-Suwaidi Park

Over the course of several weeks, a selection of cultures will be celebrated at Al-Suwaidi Park as part of the Riyadh Season 2025 calendar. 

Building on the tremendous success of previous seasons, Al Suwaidi Park will once again dedicate a full week to a new nation's culture, ensuring a truly immersive experience. Visitors can look forward to the return of popular highlights, including authentic cuisine, dynamic live music and dance performances, unique handicraft bazaars, and vibrant roaming cultural parades that bring the world to Riyadh.

The celebrations in Al-Suwaidi Park will once again kick off with celebrations of India. From a selection of live performances on the main stage, from a whole host of professional performers including Indian singers, DJs and traditional dance troops. The festivities of India Week will also include an exciting selection of Indian-inspired clothing, food, and handmade crafts, along with other food stalls spread throughout the park.

Changing each week for the next eight weeks, the festivities of Al-Suwaidi Park will feature performances, cuisine and shopping options from nine different countries. As the theme of the festivities will change weekly, it means that on almost every visit, guests will experience something new and exciting. During the cultural celebration, each country will present its performances, products, cuisine, and highlights, giving park visitors unforgettable experiences.

Highlights to Expect

  • During Philippines Week, visitors will be able to listen to the incredible tunes of DJ Jimmy Levin Nocom, in addition to Filipino dancer performances.
  • For Indonesia Week, there will be live performances from Indonesian folk bands and performances from Putri Isnari and Ridwan Naibaho.
  • Pakistan Week will feature live entertainment shows including performances from 3 Pakistani singers, acrobatics, and dancing, alongside cricket activities for sports enthusiasts.
  • As part of Yemen Week, visitors will be able to enjoy the stories of Yemeni folklore groups and performances from Yemeni singers such as Hussein Mohab, Adnan Al-Aidaroos, Soha Al-Masri, Mahioub, Yahya Anbah, and Kamelia Anbar.
  • Sudan Week will highlight the talents of Sudanese musicians such as singers Shukrallah, Mohammed Shabarqa, Eilaf Abdul Aziz, and several musical performances by the band of Bella Wad Al Ashbah.
  • Bangladesh Week will include live performances by singers, musicians, and dancers entertaining the audiences all week long.
  • During Egypt Week, visitors will get to experience authentic Pharaonic adventures with global performances, alongside musical performances, storytelling and puppet shows.
  • For Levant Week, visitors to Al-Suwaidi Park will experience fantastic Levantine cuisine, in addition to lively performances and a selection of traditional handicraft stalls.
