The hospitality landscape is shifting, and Saudi Arabia — alongside the wider GCC — is now the definitive frontier of luxury. True excellence is rarely found in the loudest rooms; it is found in the exacting details, the flawless execution, and the moments that make a journey feel entirely effortless. Our carefully selected and consider list of winners celebrates the names that have transcended mere service to define a new global benchmark in originality, precision, and consistency.

These are the icons rewriting the map of travel, wellness, and lifestyle.

WINNER OF BEST FINE DINING RESTAURANT

Kuuru, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia

Kuuru Fine Dining

Chef Eddie Castro brings the gifted nikkei touch to merge Japanese techniques and artistry with Peruvian flavours and precision. High-quality seafood stands out, with many dishes sourced from nearby seas to ensure fresh, impactful flavours. Signatures include Niku Panca (a delicious serving of wagyu tataki) and a three-nikkei Ceviche Platter. However, the star dish is arguably the Inca Black Cod. The Kuuru Jeddah interiors are premium and on-brand, with wood panelling and flecks of Inca Peruvian blue throughout. The diversity of the menu never compromises quality, and guests can enjoy watching the finesse of the highly skilled chef team at the prominently centred live cooking station.

WINNER OF BEST IN LUXURY RESORTS & ISLAND RETREATS

Nujuma, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve, The Red Sea, Saudi Arabia

Nujuma, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve

Nujuma, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve was always destined to be special. Even before its opening, Ritz-Carlton’s leaders gave the resort their ultimate endorsement when they named it a “Reserve,” an ultra-rare classification, shared by just eight Ritz-Carltons globally, which confirms a hotel occupies a setting of outstanding natural beauty and delivers exceptional hospitality. In Nujuma’s case, that location is an immaculate private island, fringed by emerald green mangrove forests, lapped by the Red Sea’s warm waters, and surrounded by the world’s fourth-largest barrier reef. Divers and snorkellers will be wowed for days by kaleidoscopic corals and thriving sea life, though Nujuma’s overwater offering is just as compelling. Seashell-shaped villas are truly distinct and effortlessly romantic – in-room telescopes that allow for spontaneous night-time stargazing and private pools, are among the thoughtful touches – while a diverse culinary offering covers everything from French patisserie to a mocktail menu inspired by astronomy.

WINNER OF BEST IN LUXURY URBAN HOTELS

Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab, Dubai, UAE

Winner Best Urban Hotel JMAA 1

Arguably Jumeirah’s most significant opening since the 1999 launch of Burj Al Arab brought the group, and Dubai’s hospitality offering as a whole, to the world’s attention, Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab shows just how mature and assured the city’s ultra-high-end hotel offering can be. Brilliantly delivered homegrown culinary offerings include seafront Iliana, delivering note-perfect Greek dishes; multiple showstopper pools, a beach club, and multi-storey wellness centre round out a comprehensive leisure offering. Plus, showstopper views of the aforementioned hotel, immediately across the water, provide the most picturesque panorama while deftly communicating just how Marsa is the symbolic link between the trailblazing accomplishments of Jumeirah’s past and its ambitions for the future.

WINNER OF BEST IN WELLNESS & SPA

Neyrah Spa at Nujuma, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve, Saudi Arabia

Neyrah_Spa_-_Cabana_Treatment_Room

The idea of an overwater villa may conjure thoughts of the Maldives, but this Red Sea spa is in the nature-rich archipelago of the Ummahat Islands. Mangroves and endless blue dominate, cultivating wildlife both on land and underwater. The setting is integral to the experience: treatments are accompanied by the sound of crashing waves and draw from the marine world, from marine algae body wraps to desert mineral scrubs. All the while, the grounding scents of oud and local moringa oil subtly nod to indigenous ingredients; sensory details that provide an undeniable sense of place.
